The Magnificent Dingo Dingoes are very good looking. Its coat can be reddish-ginger, brown, yellow, and rarely black. It also commonly has white points on the tail, snout, and feet. Dingoes have large, bushy tails, and strong, sharp looking claws and teeth. It has pointed ears, and concentrated eyes. Dingoes usually have soft, smooth, matted, or frizzy fur. The dingo is found in every place in Australia except Tasmainia. They really will live in any place that has drinking water, really. Because of this need for water, the dingo will probably be found in grasslands and forests. Dingos eat meat and hunt mainly at night. They eat rats, kangaroos, birds, rabbits, lizards, and a few farm animals. They swallow meat in large chunks. They will hunt other animals if none of the mentioned are around. Dingo pups are born live, and are mammals. Pups are usually with their parents for up to 3 years. There are usually 3 or 4 pups born at one time. Because of their sharp claws, dingoes are able to battle and protect themselves during a fight. Dingoes will eat children. Even a nine-year-old boy! If you ever go to Australia, watch out for dingoes!
